The school presented a framed new design St Columbans jersey to the Clubs of Mourne to mark 60 years of St Columbans and to thank the clubs for their support through the years.

It was a truly memorable evening and we were honoured to be part of it. Thank you to the staff of St Columbans for the invitation and the hopitality provided  on  such a momentous evening!

The Éire Óg u-12s played St. John Bosco at home on Sunday morning and despite a close first half the visitors were strongest in the second half and eventual winners!

Next match is at home to atticall on Sunday morning at home. Players to be at the quarter road at 10.30am.

Training continues on Wednesday at Pats Road from 7pm until 8pm.

The Éire Óg u-14s had 2 games this week. First up was away to Shamrocks. The Éire ogs were in top form and with great teamwork were deserved winners. Next up was Atticall at home on Saturday. They say football is a game if 2 halves and this was certainly true if this game. Éire Og were comfortable in the first half winning every ball and taking their scores well going into the break 8 points up. It was atticall however who had the better second half and ended up with the points.

This week the boys face St. Michael's both home and away. Away Monday 21st and home on Thursday 24th.

Congrtaulations to our former player Sean Grant and  his fiancée Tara on the birth of their son Olly and to Declan and Netty Grant  on the birth of their  first grandson.
