Senior Men

What a inspirational performance from the Senior men in the Ulster Junior Championship semi-final yesterday defeating a very strong Emyvale side by 1:13 to 0:12 points. The boys put in a mammoth performance which showed the togetherness, skill level and belief this side has coming back from being 4 points down in the second half to score 7 points in 10 minutes to eventually run out 4-point winners when the odds were stacked against them. This game showed the true importance of squad with the bench making a huge impact in the second half with ever player out on their feet giving everything they had to give to turn the tide. The boys now face Limvady in two weeks' time in the Ulster Junior final in what will be another massive day for the club.

Minor Girls

Congratulations and what a performance from the Minor Ladies yesterday making a bit of history bringing the first minor ladies county title back to the club after a brilliant display of grit and football to defeat Convoy by 4:18 to 3:10 after extra time in the final of the Minor C Championship. The game finished 2:10 a piece at the end of normal time but this didn't faze the girls amazingly scoring 2:8 in extra time showing how much skill, fitness and belief this side has. These girls have put in a massive amount of work throughout the year playing for various teams and are now getting the rewards for their effort. The future looks bright for Red Hugh's ladies' football
