A GAA club in Laois has been left reeling after it was targeted by vandals last weekend.

The windows of Graiguecullen GAA’s clubhouse were smashed on Sunday night / Monday morning, while a car parked on the premises also had its windows broken. There were also items stolen from the clubhouse.

In a social media post, the Carlow-border club appealed for any information relating to the vandalism.

“If anyone has seen any activity or persons in the grounds and clubhouse of Graiguecullen Gaa in the early hours of Sunday 5th / Monday morning the 6th between 1am and 6am, please contact Carlow Garda station on +353 59 9136620 to help with investigations.

“We appreciate your help and support at this time,” the post read.
