Sligo Covid-19 Breakout - 3 Like(s)
Tomas O Se way out of line in his comments on the Sligo withdrawal. In a life and death situation with COVID Sligo had no option. The Sligo and Leitrims of the GAA world strive mightily to get championship ready and obviously they are batting away behind the Kerries or Dublin elitist of the world. Why are you so blinded O Se with your all Ireland medals and your plum job on the Sunday game? The Kerry second string could give the all Ireland a run, not so in Sligo, Leitrim. Shame O Se ,get with today's world!

Finally Bonner you've done enough to warrant an immediate step down! What a bad joke and a shambles! I've said previously that Murphy was the only one that could top Derrys big 4 of Rodgers, mcKinless, mcKaigues and Glass. All came to fruition yesterday as Murphy was reduced to a mere mortal, as management played right in to Derry hands(and Rodgers) by staging Murphy in Donegals half of the field. The closest he got to the Derry square was when he took that free at the end! What an injustice to Donegals all time great. This so called best full line in the country, Brennan, Murphy not there, and McBrearty nothing. Is management holding these players back? Their better than this. McMenamin and Ward let roam forward all day long and then back to the middle, absolute garbage. At the end of regulation had the ball for 2 min, don't even get a shot away!@Roryboy For us posters that know nothing about the game why don't u give us an immediate fix?Croke Park as far out as a lighthouse as far as Bonner is concerned, so sad with the talent that's there!

@rory , Ure still at it Rory, the Great Proponent of all things Bonner. Donegal played well after a lack luster league. Armagh poor and what Name players do they have apart from O'Neill. Bonner will still have to go if this Donegal team is to realize it's potential and get to the holy grail ! Don't forget the countdown, me boy! Ure constantly on here with anyone that doesn't give Bonner the atta boy treatment, name calling and doing the deformation thing. I will not go away lad much to your consternation. By the way what Donegal teams have Rockford and Campbell managed. Must be ping-pong, cricket. Pray tell us, us Cowards that have held Bonner back over the years don't know. Diversity and differences of opinion , or is that only in America. Grow Up.

@rory, Took wee time out just to watch from afar to see how ur boy Bonner would make out. Donegal played one decent half in the last 3 or4 games, way below expectation for the talent at his disposal. Murphy still carrying the load despite posters putting other players above him in the( whose Donegals best player category). Rory, diehard Bonner fan that u are, u are counting down! Wii that championship game with Armagh see him gone. Very tired of his rhetoric and excuses after games. By the way seeing u never miss a game, maybe u could send ur private jet stateside and and give us a spin!

Donegal gutted out a great result on an atrocious day. On a day when ball handling was crucial as to the games outcome, with Murphy and Ryan basically non factors, boys like Langan, Mogan ,Thompson and McFadden brought the game to Tyrone. Talking of all stars at this stage Thompson and McFadden would have to be in the conversation before Langan. How would this performance stack up against a slick Kerry or Dublin attack?Tyrone appear to be on downward spiral, sad to hear Mickey Harte griping about Donegal's containment of McKenna, after the abuse Murphy suffered for years at the hands of McMahon,Hampsey etc.

@ rorysboy, Really Rory , constantly on here with the warrior stuff, constantly berating anyone that has a difference of opinion, all for nought on your behalf. Bonner must be the worst manager in modern day Gaelic football, what with a generational player like Murphy and Donegal talent and the amount of time he has been afforded his record is really abysmal.Ah Rory, guess you'll come up with something, somebody else to blame for the likes of yesterday's debacle!Wait a minute there chap, has there been a management change the rest of us don't know of, er the McHughs. Definitely worth a shot.

@rorysboys. What a terrible inept and disgraceful Donegal display. You must have found a rock somewhere in the beautiful county of Kerry to hide under after that effort. Donegal have talent, seems to be no game plan, side to side stuff. No attempt to break a tackle and now the likes of Ryan McHugh, who should be sat down on yesterday's showing is doing the managing. Bonner out of his depth ,what is he waiting for. For the good of Donegal football, step away Bonner. Need a change of scenery.

Donegal much the best, though have to credit Monaghan for not going away. The displays of Reilly,M McHugh and who else,Murphy getting Donegal over the line. There seems to be some issues with the sub introductions. Why would Mc Elhinney who seemed out of gas be sent back in before Leo or Hugh mc Fadden. The black card issue is still a joke . Sorry for Thompson ,reaching in with open hand to tackle,Mr Deegan no penalty and no black card! Thought that black card was to be issued to a player for impeding an opponent after releasing the ball. How much of this went on sat eve and nobody taken to task? Should be a cracking Ulster final.

Really Rory, the good weather must have your head fried, especially when u tell me I am being silly in wanting to get to Croke Park to an all Ireland semi final with Donegal. Now ur salvitating at all Bonner has won, underage, senior etc. If anything he's cost Donegal more at under age than senior. Take ur pick! It's a no brainerthat he must go! And yes I will like any other poster on here put in my two cents as far as who should be considered for the job if available. McGuinness, O,Rourke, Regan, maybe Rockford if Bonner doesn't have him poisoned. Finally, Rory, why don't u take a trip stateside , see if we can get u Climatised. lol

@Rory, Take it easy on the festivities over the the holidays, don't need u getting stuck in the chimney doing ur Santa Claus impersonation! Leave that to Bonner. Oh , by the way u mentioned a couple of new guys, er Laurel and Hardy. Would they be management or players! Don't recognize the names, maybe u can clarify. Watch the space for the countdown!

Replying To rorysboys:  "For the umpteenth time clubs had 5 weeks to sort a manager and they didn't. Stop repeating yourself which your good at, Kerry players obviously don't want Keane that is why jack o Connor left Kildare. Donegal players must be happy enough with the set up and that is why bonner is still there. You were calling for bonners head after the Tyrone game in his first year, so everybody knows your agenda.. plenty of people like you about who contribute nothing but have plenty to say. Going by this week you have plenty friends in Mayo keyboard warriors I mean."
Like I said here before, Peter Keane so unlucky not to have toppled the Dubs. Absolutely no winking and nodding in that part of the world, like it should be. The Sam is the ultimate prize, Peter Keane does not have a snowballs chance in hell, with their 5 man steering committee to find a new manager, yetMcGrath and Donegal county board don't see things that way. Easily could have cleaned house, and sent Bonner out to pasture. For the record Rory, why don't u try a new slogan 'the keyboard warrior thing is getting stale as is the constant 'repeating'. Guess u like listening to ur self.

Really. The excuses are mounting up for Bonner before theres even a ball kicked v the Dubs. Who to play, the WEAK or theSTRONG team. Which team is Paul Brennan on? McFadden and McGonagle non factors v Monaghan, McFadden still a keeper, honestly McGonagle is a div 4 midfielder! How can the anchor of the team, Brennan not last for more than 30 to 40 minutes in any game?Anyone care to put a number on the inevitable! 12 to 15 pt beating should move Bonner ever closer to the door!

Bonner has to be running out of narratives after these brutal losses, as he cuts a dismal figure at the end of the game. Man up and at least say the buck stops with him. What chance of getting out of the super eights when Donegal can't even beat a Dublin team short six regulars. At least 3 of these starters on the Donegal team not good enough. Defensively, Donegal weak with the same 3 or 4 carrying the load, namely Patton, McFadden, Murphy . Good to see Mogan come of age. @ Rory were u at the game!

Under 21 team for 2017 - 1 Like(s)
@rorysboys, The Agenda is to get to the next level and that is to win an allIreland title. With 10 panelists and several starters from the senior team, todays effort was a crying shame. By the way McCormack played in the 2nd half in that NY senior challenge game ,don't know for the life of me what Noctor and Gallagher had to do with todays collapse in Breffni and Donegal u21 management?

New Players That Should Be Looked At In 2021 - 1 Like(s)
With Ciaran Thompson not starting, the elder statesman McGee,who was Donegal s best player on Sun was the the only one from that epic final last year on the starting lineup. Has to be something seriously wrong with that picture! The nucleus and strength of the county team should be coming from the top club teams in the county namely Glenties,Gweedore. Panam ,mentioned Nathan Boyle, surely he could be groomed a physical specimen. Cant understand the Gweedore situation, Odhrans situation one has to be sympathetic, but what of Carroll,Mulligan and Daire o Baoil. Daire reduced to a bit player after the season he he had 2 years ago in the champ and Ulster. A line of Ryan, Ban and Mogan mentioned for halfback line. At senior club level and A v B games you could watch them all day bombing up the field , brilliant athletes, also throw in Eoin McHugh. At inter county level will never work against the 'dog' mentality, which Cavan brought to the table. Stephen McBrearty is another who should be there.Mickey Harte gone to Louth, maybe Donegal should have made a phone call. He knows a thing or two about getting teams to the next level and winning all Ireland's.

Replying To rorysboys:  "Never heard from you in 3 weeks. You definitely fit the bill of what Anthony Molloy is talking about. Have no interest in what you have to say. I'll not be going away so get used to it. I stand by my point the best men are there but we don't really have the quality players to take us to the top level. That's nothing against the players even one of them have my utmost respect. They gave up there young lives to play for there county . If people don't agree with what I say so what. Heard today there was a bit of fist cups in the pat Mc grane stand between two Donegal fans. One of them was mouthing about bonner unaware that there were club mates of bonner about.. maybe it was you low ball but you probably would be too cowardly for that.. I could do with a few likes lads . Hope to see yous all in two weeks but I wudnt hold my breath it'll be the genuine supporters at this game."
Good boy Rory, ure usual best, cowards, keyboard, know nothing about football, that is us that have an opinion on the mess Bonner has created, So now ure switching codes to the McGregor stuff , wait, u sound more like a sumu wrestler type. Get the Countdown started, you and DECCIE are gone , history. By the way , how did I look swinging in the stand, Ithink I won.
