Tyrone Boycott Of RTE - 3 Like(s)

Replying To royaldunne:  "Overstated and incorrect. It's a sort of unban legend now. Totally fake news as Murray personally phoned mh to apologize and what's more mh fully accepted his apology. So for those using this they are wrong."
Why do you even care if Harte or ANY of Tyrone GAA talk to RTE or not, why are you so obsessed with Tyrone GAA right now, are you hurting RD, do you have a longing inside? No one has commented on this more than you have yet you have so little to actually say, what is your issue here?

Tyrone Boycott Of RTE - 3 Like(s)

Replying To thelongridge:  "Time for Tyrone to move on. While Micky Harte had a good reason for the initial stance following an insensitive comment by an RTE presenter, I read that the presenter subsequently apologised to Micky Harte. If Tyrone win the All Ireland on Sunday week, there will be no interview with the winning manager and his players, and possible man of the match award at the winner's banquet. I hope that in future, maybe even on All Ireland Final day, we will see interviews with Tyrone management and players, before and after intercounty games. It serves no purpose at this stage."
Sure RTE could post the award up if its a Tyrone MOTM, that is if they can find us on one of their maps!

All Ireland Final 18 - Dublin V Tyrone - 3 Like(s)
I got to be brutally honest here as a Tyrone man, I have studied the match ups, looked at the respective tactics, the strength of the benches and I have to say that I simply cannot see how Tyrone can engineer a win over this Dublin team, I just can't. That pains me very much as I'm dedicated to my county but I have to be realistic here, but I have my ticket sorted, flights are booked, and I shall be there regardless because they are your county and that's what you do. Its worth remembering that this is only the 6th AI final that we have ever made, just 6, put into context Mayo have contested that amount just since the turn of the new millennium, so being here actually is a big deal for us. I have to admit that I love mixing with the Dubs at Croke park on any big game day and the 2nd September will be no different, cant wait.

Only one team was interested in attacking, Donegal's tiki taka tactics were stupefying at times, best footballing team won and will only improve in Croke park.

Here's my tuppence worth. First off, we have now seen the reality of just how undemocratic and inequitable the so-called United Kingdom really is. we have seen both Scotland and the North, both with devolved governments, vote overwhelmingly to remain in the EU, however the voters of Grimsby, Basildon and Cannock have in fact decided the result on their behalf regardless. The United kingdom is dead in the water, this will be Call me Dave's epitaph, his lasting legacy, the Scots will finally grow a pair and will make the right choice next time. As for the north, Unionism is dead in the water, they have cut off their own noses to spite their faces, blinded by their desire to be as British as the British themselves, they cannot see the reality of the situation now unfolding, loyalism is a beaten docket. The catholic middle classes who were too full of their own selves to look at the bigger picture, the national question, did so on the proviso that their little corner of heaven was a member of the EU, that's gone and with it that cosy consensus, that Rory McIlroyisation of the nationalist electorate. I don't envisage the border being fortified like it once was, however the decision on how this international frontier is policed is not Irelands to make, but the 27 nations will decide. Looking at the electoral map of the North from last night, I could virtually have coloured in the yellow and blue well in advance with two unusual exceptions, East Derry, home of Gregory Campbell MP and the biggest surprise, affluent and leafy North Down, all in the remain camp. There was clearly an element of Protestant voters that went with remain, the UUP were on the same side as SF and SDLP, so they did bring some of their base with them. Watch this space folks!

Well Done Lee Keegan !! - 2 Like(s)

Replying To Goalie2016:  "It really is amazing how offended the Dubs fans are over this decision. Keegan had a great year it's hardly a joke of a decision."
Haters gonna hate, Dubs simply greedy, want it all. Well done to Lee, well deserved and the fact that it was his fellow footballers that voted for him makes it all the more significant.

Derry vs Tyrone - 2 Like(s)

Replying To OakGael:  "Listen folks, the reality is my proud footballing county of Derry is a very average team, we conceded an average of 1-18 over the league campaign. Our form going into this match was nothing short of awful, you cannot gage how good or bad Tyrone are after today, they over ran Derry, won their individual battles and put the scores on the board. We on the other hand had no game plan and no Derry player showed the willingness to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and push the players around him on. it hurts me to say this 'the Derry Jersey has lost its respect within the county'."
Couldn't believe the lack of fight in that Derry team today, I can understand the frustration of the Derry support, even I feel cheated as a Tyrone supporter.

In case you haven't noticed they are mostly all average footballers who give their all, it just so happens that Jon Walters gives more than most.

Replying To Wests_Awake:  "In the good old days when the Dublin footballers used to capitulate in the latter stages of the All Ireland and much to the general amusement to the rest of the country, LiamWalkinstown did a spectacular flounce from this messageboard. It was hilarious. Perhaps it's happened again?"
I remember well, 'Tokyo' I believe was his final destination!
