Kilkenny manager Derek Lyng could be without three of his marquee names for Sunday’s Leinster SHC Round 2 clash with Galway in Salthill.

The Cats’ 5-30 to 0-13 demolition of Antrim last Sunday came at a cost after goalkeeper Eoin Murphy and attackers Eoin Cody and Adrian Mullen went off injured. Mullen appeared to suffer a thigh injury midway the first half and was immediately withdrawn, Murphy didn’t reappear for the second half after taking a knock to the face, while Cody hobbled off with an ankle injury five minutes after the restart.

Cody’s injury would appear to be the most serious, but the Cats do have able attacking replacements in Owen Wall, Gearoid Dunne and Billy Drennan who scored 4-9 between them off the bench.
