The late Paddy Hoey of Mountbagnal, Riverstown, who died on December 26th, 2009, was a founder member of St Patricks GFC and served on the club's first-ever committee. He remained a loyal supporter of the Pats throughout his life. The Pats provided a Guard of Honour at his funeral.
