Grangemockler-Ballyneale GAA's Michael Hogan Commemoration walk/jog/run in aid of Pieta House
Tipperary player Michael Hogan was killed by British forces in Croke Park in 1920.
This year marks the centenary of the Bloody Sunday massacre in Croke Park in 1920.
Fourteen people were killed at GAA headquarters on November 21, 1920 when British forces opened fire on the crowd attending a football challenge match between Dublin and Tipperary.
One of those killed that day was Tipp player Michael Hogan from Grangemockler and whom The Hogan Stand at Croke Park was later named after.
Grangemockler-Ballyneale GAA have organised a Michael Hogan Commemoration walk/jog/run for tomorrow, May 31 at 11am to honour their late clubman and the thirteen other Bloody Sunday victims, with all money raised going to Pieta House.
Anyone who wishes to take part are asked to wear their club and county colours and to post a photo of themselves and or their family and tag #MichaelHoganWalk #Walk4Pieta on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram.
