Sadly OP, coming so soon after the sectarian abuse the Down hurler took from the Carlow player to me it seems 6 county teams are fair game in the minds of some idiots who represent their counties. Sledging is obviously a big part of the game but any gael on this island thinking it to be smart using sectarian language towards an opposing player obviously isn't the smartest cookie in the jar. I can imagine there would have been a lot of players in that Waterford team wouldn't be too happy with that players sectarian language. The GAA are advertising masters getting the message out about family, community, inclusion. They put a great shift in a number of years ago about racism which was long over due considering the horrific incidents that was reported all over the country. Like you say, it's long overdue they dealt with this issue in the same vigour.
