Cork GAA legend Jimmy Barry Murphy’s son Brian has been appointed manager of English soccer League One outfit Rochdale.
Barry Murphy junior joined the club as a player nine years ago and was subsequently appointed a player/coach in 2014.
The 40-year-old took over as caretaker manager last month and it was announced this morning that he has been handed the job on a permanent basis.
