Tyrone manager Mickey Harte is in no doubt that Cork will not fear them in Saturday's All-Ireland SFC qualifier.

The sides do battle in O'Moore Park, Portlaoise on Saturday evening with the prize on offer being a place in the newly formed Super 8s.

Cork are coming into this game on the back of a humiliating defeat to Kerry in the Munster SFC final, while Tyrone have been gathering momentum with three wins under their belt thus far.

However, the Rebels have been more than a match for the Ulster side in recent meetings and Harte is well aware of that fact as he plans for tomorrow's clash.

The experienced manager told the Ulster Herald that the current Cork squad will take confidence from the fact that they have done so well against Tyrone in the last few years.

"Cork always feel good meeting Tyrone. I think they feel Tyrone is a team that they can manage, that they can handle. The last time we met in the championship was 2009 in an All-Ireland semi-final, and we were going very good at that time, on the back of the previous year's All-Ireland," said Harte.

"They put us to the sword that day, and we still had a lot of our team of the noughties still there, and they didn't fear us in any shape or form.

"I think that will give them confidence. They don't see Tyrone as a team that they can't handle, and that's the challenge for us - we have to meet them knowing that that's their mentality, and knowing that we have to be really good to overcome that."
