WHY ARE WE SHOUTING?

But yes, I agree. 40 teams in the county, makes far more sense. The fact we had 13, 14, and 13 in our 3 divisions meaning some teams had a bye each game week in Div 1 and 3 is silly too.

Would it mean playing home and away double rounds as 9 games would be a very short league… would 18 be too many…?

I've heard people discussing this four 10s in terms of championship , ie., junior, junior b which I'd be completely against. If you mean league, then I'd say division 1 to 4 might be good but I'm not sure it is necessary. What would it add?

i feel for divisions 7 games of competitive games condensed (albeit luck of draw on home or away) ...more quality evenly matched teams in every division

rather than drawing out affairs teams fielding weakened sides

a very competitive division 1 and a even matched division 4 with chance of promotion for most

Just give everyone participation medals, then they won't to train or compete or better themselves, would suit a good number of the clubs.

Tomsmith here

Wishfull thinking that suggestion of yours would suit that boozing lads and Lassies .
I saidit before and I will say it again West Cavan is letting the Gaa down , by not Coaching and training young players up to County standard.
The apologists will offer all sorts of excuses but if you draw aline from Arva to Ballyhaise this large land mass of Cavan has done little for the Gaa in the past 30 years.
I know I know people will say good players have left toplay with bigger Clubs ( Gearoid is an example) but why blame the player or the Club he goes too.
And indeed if the Gaels were to take all the players that wanted to transfer
into the Club well it would b like a County team.

More players should have a few pints especially before big championship games it would help relax them and the standard of football would be much better yo

You do realise a line from Arvagh to Ballyhaise cuts straight through the Gaels' catchment area (official catchment area, of course)
