(Oldest Posts First)

I wrote many years ago that west Cavan was letting the Cavan Gaa down and it is now painfully obvious that I was right ( another time) when I said it.
Not a good senior team is North of a line from Arva to Cootehill

Well I remember when I was a junior poster of 300 odd posts I used to attempt to pich holes in senior posters valued contriubtions, but now as a senior poster I have come to understand that some posters who may feel overawed by reading senior posters intelligent posts . In such a state those posters sometimes cast aside the real message in the post.
Case in point in this Post is that WEst Cavan has let Cavan Gaa down by installing lack of Coaching, development or indeed good old fasioned skill and brawn into west Cavan players.
While all of the above is not necesseary as you can look at Cavan Gaels who relay on skill alone

Skill that they transferred in from say Swanlinbar or Shannon Gaels.
Is nobody moderating this nonsense?

your beloved club could do with a few transfers from West Cavan, sure didnt they try to get McKiernan too with an offer of a bit of land and a few head of cattle!

Yea that absolutely happened. Luckily Ramor have such big numbers they don't need transfers

Nah, they're just lucky they can poach from Mullagh and Maghera! Maybe a few transfers and they couldve kicked on and won a few more senior titles like the Gaels did.

Look it not the fault of Cavan Gaels ( Best team in Cavan for past 20 years) that fellows look to transfer into the Club.
Cavann Gaels I am taul could field 5 or 6 teams if everyone was allowed to transfer in.
Sure theClub had to put a stop to , .
