Cornafean club notes

November 25, 2019

The late Mrs Beesie Cullen,
The recent death of Mrs Beesie Cullen Drumkeeran draws the curtain on one of Cornafean's oldest and most popular residents. Aged 96 years she enjoyed good health all her life and was still driving her car until two years ago.
Beesie was predeceased by her husband Owen and son Noel. She was well known for her work ethic both inside and outside her house. Together with her husband Owen she developed one of the best dairy farms in the area which was further extended by their son Seamus.
She will be sadly missed by her sons Eamon, Seamus and Martin, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and extended family. Her funeral mass was in the church of the Immaculate Conception Coronea with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Rev Donal Hannon presiding. "May the sod rest lightly on her Grave"
