U 12 Girls Div 1 Champions.
Well done to the Cornafean U12 Girls on becoming Div 1 League Champions by virtue of their great win over Mullahoran played in Ballymchugh on Sunday evening last. It was by all accounts a great game of football served up by both Cornafean and Mullahoran girls and great credit is due to the Reds on their 2pt victory and their management of Deirdre and Mary.

Congratulations
Best of luck to Amber McIntyre, Behey who will be playing in the half time games at this weekends All Ireland Hurling Final as a result of winning Cumman na mBunscoil Competition held recently.  Well done to Amber on this great achievement.

Division 3 Ladies U13 Final
Killinkere 4-12
Cornafean 3-7
Despite a great second half performance from the girls in Red on Monday evening last they just came up short against a very strong Killinkere team in this Division 3 U13 final.  A disappointing first half left Cornfean with an uphill task but in fairness to the girls in Red they left everything on the pitch in the second period.  The team effort was rewarded with goals from N. McCaffrey and A. McIntyre but unfortunately the team could not make up the deficit before the final whistle.  A great effort and well done to the girls and their management team of Fiachra, John and Karen.
