Seniors 

 Div 1 Reserve Championship got off to a great start last Friday  evening July 5th at home V Crosserlough with a  win for us Kingscourt 0-13 Crosserlough 1-05. Next round V Gowna away Friday July 12th at 8pm.  Postponed league game V Cavan Gaels will now be played at home next Sunday July 14th at 1pm. 

Baby Star 

Congratulations to senior player Seanie Farrelly and his wife Maria on the birth of their baby girl, Evie. 

Kingcourt Band 

Huge congratulations to St Mary's Brass and Reed Band on the success in the South of Ireland Band Championships in Clonakilty. The senior band, under the direction of Mr Gavin Warren, came 1st in the intermediate section out of a group of 13. They also won the award for 'Best Woodwind Section'. Meanwhile, the youth band, under the direction of Ms Mairead Smith came 1st in the Junior Section, while Mairead also won a Special Adjudicators Award for her conducting. 
A great achievement!
