Still basking in the warm afterglow of winning promotion from Division 4 of the Allianz Football League last Sunday, Leitrim have received another boost with the news that their Connacht SFC quarter-final against Sligo is reverting back to Carrick-on-Shannon.

The local derby on Sunday week, April 7, had been switched to Dr Hyde Park in anticipation that improvement works on the Avant Money Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada pitch would be commencing this week. However, the recent heavy rainfall has resulted in the works being postponed by a couple of weeks, meaning Andy Moran's men will have home advantage afterall.

Before then, Leitrim head to Croke Park to face Laois in Saturday evening's Allianz League Division 4 final.
