Leinster emerged winners of the first Wheelchair Hurling inter-provincial blitz of the year in Mountbellew, Co. Galway today.
Sponsored by Martin Donnelly, the event in Holy Rosary College - which incorporated the Wheelchair Hurling All Stars awards ceremony - proved a resounding success with each of the four provinces giving an excellent account of themselves. GAA president John Horan and Galway hurler Cathal Mannion were among the attendance.
The next blitz will be hosted by Leinster in Gormanston College, Co. Meath on Saturday, July 7.
