Armagh's Oisin O'Neill dishes off the pass

Armagh forward Oisin O’Neill says he “can’t await” to get back to action for the Orchard County this summer.

A hip injury meant that the Crossmaglen sharpshooter did not play a single minute of his county’s Division 2 league campaign over the past two months, but he’s hoping to be in contention for a spot in Kieran McGeeney’s team during their upcoming Ulster championship campaign which starts away to Down on May 19th.

"It's very frustrating when you are unable to play. You are kicking every ball while you are sitting there in the stand,” O’Neill told the Belfast Telegraph.

“Hopefully I will be back for the championship in which Armagh will meet Down in Newry at the quarter-final stage.

"This is a massive match for both counties who missed out on promotion and will now want to make an impact in the Ulster and All-Ireland championships."
