Tyrone need goals - Kernan

Tyrone's Connor McAliskey celebrates his first-half goal against Meath

Former Armagh All Star Aaron Kernan says Tyrone will need two goals at the very least to conquer Dublin in Sunday's All-Ireland final.

The Red Hands are set to head for the capital as rank outsiders to claim their county's fourth ever Sam Maguire Cup success and Kernan says they'll need to throw the kitchen sink at the Dubs in order to halt their four-in-a-row bid.

"The only way I can see Tyrone beating Dublin is by scoring goals," the Crossmaglen man told The Irish News.

"Dublin are very comfortable playing against every game-plan, but very few teams of late have gone after them in a positive manner.

"The majority mainly focus on not conceding to the Dubs and try to pick-off scores on the counter-attack. Tyrone will need to score at least two goals if they are to have any chance of stopping Dublin's four-in-a-row ambitions."
