The club will be decide what age levels can be catered for and will contact all club players concerned shortly. Thanks to all our players who have waited patiently for this return and we are looking forward to arranging training for as many as possible. It is hoped a return to games will follow shortly.

Condolences were passed with the Martin family The Derries, Athlone on the death of Eddie Martin. Eddie was an Honorary Vice President of the club with a long association with hurling and all things GAA in the community. His grandchildren play with the club and the family donated the prestigious John Martin Cup to the club for an annual juvenile hurling tournament. The cup is in memory of Eddie's father who was the last man to captain an Athlone hurling team to win the county senior championship.  Eddie was a true gentleman and Gael with a huge passion for Gaelic games and he will be sadly missed but fondly remembered in our club.

Condolences also to the Flynn family Castlepollard on the death of Ned Flynn, a legend in Westmeath GAA circles.
