Darren McCurry was on fire as Edendork regained their Tyrone senior status on Saturday.

The All-Star forward scored 0-13 as St Malachy's edged out Moy by 0-21 to 0-20 after extra-time in a dramatic promotion / relegation playoff at Donaghmore. The victory sees Edendork return to Division 1 after just one season outside the top flight.

On a day when Sean Cavanagh came out of retirement to assist the Tir na nOgs, Michael Conroy did everything he could to save them by amassing 0-14, but Edendork found that little bit extra after points from  Harry Óg Conlan and McCurry had brought the tie to extra-time.

The sides were still level at 0-18 apiece at the end of the first period of extra-time, but Edendork had the final say when rising star Ben Cullen sent over the winner at the death.
