Derry champions Glen are through to the Ulster club SFC semi-finals after flooring Tyrone counterparts Errigan Ciaran with a superb second-half comeback to win by 3-10 to 1-12 at Celtic Park.

The home side had made the dream start through Conor Convery’s after just five minutes but soon saw it wiped out thanks to Darragh Canavan’s point at the other end being backed up by a Tommy Canavan goal in the 12th minute.

Six minutes later and the ball was in the Tyrone men’s net again after Alex Doherty broke loose and rounded the ‘keeper to finish to an empty net.

The visitors kicked next six points though to control and another from Peter Og McCartan had them leading by 1-8 to 2-1 at the halfway stage.

Conor Glass and Jack Doherty raised white flags early after the turnaround for Malachy O’Rourke’s men and they’d be level in the 36th minute when Ethan Doherty hammered in their third goal.

It remained airtight until the closing minutes as Glen’s bench came to the fore with Stevie O’Hara landing a brace of points before Doherty landed their final score on the hour mark from a tight angle.

Next up for O’Rourke’s charges is an semi-final date with Antrim’s Cargin whom defeated Naomh Conaill of Donegal on penalties earlier today in west Belfast.
