A phenomenal domestic season for Na Piarsaigh culminated in them winning the Limerick IHC title yesterday.

It completed a hat-trick of championship wins for the Caherdavin club who also captured county SHC and IFC honours in recent weeks. Their 1-19 to 0-14 IHC final victory over Croagh Kilfinny in Ballyagran means they will play senior and 'premier' intermediate hurling in 2023.

Yesterday's final took place 42 days after Na Piarsaigh and Croagh Kilfinny defeated Granagh Ballingarry and Pallasgreen in their respective semi-finals. The long wait to play the decider was caused by Na Piarsaigh's involvement in two Munster championship campaigns. While their senior hurlers were beaten at the semi-final stage by Ballygunner, their intermediate footballers are through to next weekend's provincial intermediate final against Rathmore of Kerry, so they mightn't be finished winning just yet!
