Kilkenny hurling manager Brian Cody is set to be ratified to his post for a 23rd season tonight.
The longest serving inter-county boss, Cody was appointed Kilkenny manager back in November 1998 and has since steered the Cats to 11 All-Ireland SHC titles.
This past November saw Cody's side upset Galway to land the 16th Leinster SHC crown of the 66-year-old’s reign before his side lost out to Waterford in the All-Ireland semi-finals.
Tonight is set to see Kilkenny county board put forward its chosen candidates from minor to senior level for ratification by the county’s clubs.
