Another Laochra Gael drew praise and earned rave reviews from its viewers last night as former Dublin star Michael Darragh Macauley featured in its latest episode.
Macauley won eight All-Ireland SFC titles and five National League crowns during a remarkable career with the Dubs.
He was also named Footballer of the Year in 2013 and, on St Patrick’s Day in 2016, he would taste more All-Ireland success at Croke Park after helping Ballyboden St Enda’s to the coveted Andy Merrigan Cup.
Last night’s episode on TG4 featured a candid interview with the Dubs’ legend where he looked back on his playing days and also opened up on the death of his parents.
