A wonderful Padraig Hampsey point off the outside of the right boot was the standout highlight of the first-half in today's All-Ireland SFC final at Croke Park.
The Tyrone captain roamed forward to fire over beautifully from beneath the Hogan Stand, and Kieran McGeary also belied his defensive duties with another booming score for the Red Hands, helping their side into a 0-10 to 0-8 half-time lead.
Mayo coughed up a couple of goal chances as Niall Morgan denied both Bryan Walsh and Aidan O'Shea at different stages but the Red Hands look more composed so far.
