John McGrath scored 1-12 as Loughmore-Castleleiney came from seven points down to claim a 1-18 to 1-15 victory against Borris-Ileigh in the Tipperary SHC semi-final at Semple Stadium this afternoon.
With 20 minutes remaining, Loughmore trailed by 1-12 to 0-8 and 2019 champions Borris-Ileigh were heading to a Dan Breen Cup decider date with Thurles Sarsfields.
James Devaney's fourth minute goal steered Borris-Ileigh towards a 1-9 to 0-7 half-time lead and they were still four clear by the second water-break.
But Loughmore, with the breeze at their backs in the second-half, clawed their way back into the contest.
The comeback was complete when Tipperary marksman McGrath fired home a 57th minute penalty.
Loughmore will now face Mid-Tipp rivals Thurles in the county final on November 14.
