Under 13s

Our Under 13 team played in the Under 13A Shield against Lusmagh/Drumcullen on Sunday morning at the Kinnitty GAA Grounds. 

Unfortunately for the girls, they were unable to match Lusmagh/Drumcullen on the day and were left disappointed at the final whistle.

Despite the defeat the girls have had a good league and can reflect on the competition with some comfort as they now can pack away their helmet for the winter.  No doubt their coaches will be hoping that the hurls are not packed away and the girls can continue their own training over the winter months.

Thank you to their coaches who put in so much time and effort with the girls throughout the year.

Under 11s

Our Under 11 team will play their final blitz on Saturday.  The blitz will now be played in Lusmagh and not Kilcormac as noted last week.

AGM

The club held it's AGM on Sunday with all officers remaining in their roles for the forthcoming year with the exception of Chair, where Mairead Haugh informed the club that she was stepping down from her role.  The club would like to thank Mairead for her work during the past year.  The Committee will reconvene in December with a view to appointing a Chairperson.
