Ballycumber GAA Club.
Croke Park to Ballycumber.
The funding platform for donations for the participants in the Croke Park to Ballycumber run/walk fundraiser is now available at www.fundmajor.clubfaithful.ie. The funds raised will help defray some of the costs involved in the construction of the Ballycumber Activity Centre. This building will measure 48 metres long, 18metres wide and 5metres high at its lowest point and will include an Astro Turf floor. Three of the walls will be fully closed and suitable as a Ball Wall. Half of the side facing the pitch will be open but with mesh fencing to allow fresh air to circulate.
The building will be suitable for all kinds of indoor games and training and will be a massive asset to our Community.
The Croke Park to Ballycumber fundraiser is planned for the 11th September when participants will walk /run from Croke Park to Grand Canal Dock and follow the Grand Canal Greenway all the way to Pollagh in relays. The trip from Pollagh to Ballycumber will be covered by small groups on the road and the final kilometres by all participants.
We thank everyone who has contributed on www.fundmajor.clubfaithful.ie to date and all participants would encourage their friends and family to sponsor them.

Division 5 F.L.
Ballycumber 1—13 Erin Rovers 1—12.
Ballycumber travelled to Pollagh on Saturday evening and came away with a victory by the slenderest margin. A close and tense game could have gone either way with Ballycumber shading the first half exchanges and the home side were more dominant in the second. Ballycumber added two league points to their total which unfortunately was not enough to secure a final place because of walk overs conceded by other teams.
Team: Kyle Cornally, Aaron Daly, Michael Egan, Donal Lynam. Darragh Bolger, Karl Daly David Ayres, John Corcoran, Shaun Creevy, Andrew Grennan, Colin Daly, Conrad Casey, Leo Guinan, Sean Hackett, Fergal Daly, Kevin Kelly, Dean Lowry, Peter Berry.
