Cork U20s pay heartfelt tribute to Brendán Óg Duffy

Cork U20 footballers stand together to make the shape of an 'M' in memory of the late Brendán Óg Duffy.

The Cork U20 footballers showed their class by standing together to make the shape of an 'M' and holding a minute's silence at training yesterday in memory of the late Brendán Óg Duffy.

It was one of many tributes paid around the country to the Monaghan U20 captain who tragically lost his life in a car crash on his way home from Friday night's Ulster semi-final win over Donegal.

After their manager Keith Ricken's remarkable interview with TG4 following Thursday night's thrilling Munster semi-final win over Kerry, one wouldn't expect anything less from these respectful and impressive young Rebels.
