Gratitude: We would like to thank all our Club members and the greater members of the Toome community who are not club members that participated in our Spring Clean on Saturday last, 10th April. More than 50 people young and old took to their roads and beyond to collect litter, highlighting what great community spirit there is within the Toome area. This was an exceptional turnout; the visual impact is hugely noticeable and the positive impact on the environment is exceptional. More than 200 bags of rubbish were collected from the roads and these were collected by Monaghan Co. Co. from St Victors Park on Monday 12th April. Once again, a sincere thanks to everyone who participated and made this day the sucess it was, go raibh míle maith agat agus bualadh bos mór.
Referees: We are looking for anyone who may be interested in refereeing this year, juvenile referees can start once they are over the age of 14. If you are interested, please make contact with Declan Lambe or any committee member.
Underage Football: We are delighted that government announced that the living with COVID plan will allow our underage players back to the field. Training resumes on Tuesday 27th April, we have amalgamated with Corduff this year and our U17s and U15s will go by the name of Óglaigh Naomh Buach or as bearla Tribe of Winners. We wish these young players, their mentors and management the very best of luck for the season ahead. Parents will be requested to complete the Return to Play questionnaire prior to each session and match.
Seniors: It was welcome news when the government announced that our senior players will soon be allowed back to the training field. We thank all our players and management who adhered to the restrictions in place through this time. We wish the players and management the best of luck in the year ahead and sucess on and off the field.
Club Membership: Thankfully we have a roadmap for the commencement for training. It is essential to ensure that Club membership is paid, fund raising has been very limited and hence it is essential that the Club receives your membership. With that in mind we ask all our players, members and families to log in and pay their membership online in a safe and secure environment in the comfort of your home or on the go. This year we have moved to Clubforce to facilitate the payment of membership, this is a simple process and safe in the current climate. We ask that all members download the Clubforce app from the App Store or Google Play store, or you can click on the link here: https://member.clubforce.com/memberships_cart_m.asp?LL_ID=2409&clb=1 if viewing online.
Club membership is vital to the survival of the Club and please remember all players are required to have their membership completed to be covered for the Player Injury Fund. If you have any queries in relation to the Clubforce App please contact Damien O'Reilly on 0871252126
