Speculation over Kevin McStay's future has ended with confirmation that he will be continuing as Mayo senior football manager for a third year.
It follows a county board review into Mayo's performances in 2024, which led to reports that McStay would be asked to make changes to his backroom team. However, there was no reference to this in a county board statement released on Sunday night.
The statement read: “Mayo GAA have concluded their annual end of year review with the Mayo senior football management team and would like to confirm that Kevin McStay will continue as the manager of the Mayo senior football team for 2025.
"The Mayo GAA Coiste Bainistí would like to wish the players and the management team all the very best of luck for 2025.”
