Former Kildare SFC champions Sarsfields are on the look out for a new manager after Billy O'Loughlin stepped down from the role in the wake of their defeat to eventual winners Athy.
The ex-DIT Sigerson Cup and Laois U20 football boss had been tasked with leading 'The Sash' to back-to-back Dermot Bourke Cup titles having taken over from Davy Byrne but they fell just short at the semi-final stage against The Reds last month.
Sarsfields tweeted the news yesterday and thanked O'Loughlin and his management team "for all their work throughout what has been a very difficult year."
