It looks like Ephie Fitzgerald will have to reapply for the position of Cork senior ladies football manager if he wishes to continue after the county board sought expressions of interest for its senior, minor, U16 and U14 posts.
It's believed that the 2016 All-Ireland winning manager hasn't stepped down, despite his term having come to an end following Cork's surprise All-Ireland semi-final loss to Meath. The Rebels conceded two late goals in normal time before losing after extra-time to the eventual All-Ireland champions.
