Kildare manager Jack O'Connor has decided to try midfielder Kevin Feely at full forward for Kildare's Allianz Football League clash against Cork at Semple Stadium on Saturday.

O'Connor moulded former Kerry star Kieran Donaghy into a very effective target man during his time in charge of the Kingdom and could be looking to do the same with the Athy ace.

There is one newcomer in the team to face the Rebels in Thurles - Naas youngster Alex Beirne has been named at wing forward.

Kildare (Allianz FL Division 2 v Cork): Mark Donnellan; Mark Dempsey, Mick O'Grady, Eoin Doyle; Kevin Flynn, David Hyland, Ryan Houlihan; Luke Flynn, Aaron Masterson; Alex Beirne, Daniel Flynn, Paul Cribbin; Jimmy Hyland, Kevin Feely, Darragh Kirwan.
