Galway have handed out two debuts in defence for Saturday's Allianz Football League Division 1 opener away to Kerry at Austin Stack Park.
Jack Glynn, one of three All-Ireland U20 winners from last year included in the starting 15, has been named at corner back by manager Padraic Joyce.
Corofin clubman Dylan McHugh will get his first taste of league action too, at centre back.
Paul Kelly and Matthew Tierney in attack were also part of the U20 side that captured the county's first U20 title since 2013.
