link Kebabs for every Leitrim hurler, win lose or draw.

Weren't Clare sponsored by a Russian airline one time?

Didn't Leitrim have some leftie group sponsoring one of the teams last year? That was odd given Leitrim's history of its people being forced out.

Nice one. I wouldn't be one for the gaming but fair play to The Terroriser for sponsoring Dunsany and for his career.

Former soccer international Paul McShane sponsored Newtown GAA club in Wicklow, and they wore jerseys with just his name on the front:

'Some leftie group'... oh you mean the Migrant Rights Centre of Ireland? With 'No to Racism' wrote across the jersey.... that's 'odd' apparently given our 'history'?

Then there was the game between Meath, sponsored by Tayto, and Tyrone, sponsored by Hunky Dory. Such an exhibition of crisp passing had to be seen to be believed.

Kingspan have sponsored Cavan since the early 90s, but "oddly" pur jerseys aren't any warmer than anyone else's.

That one. I do believe the Constitution of the association does not permit the use of games to promote political objectives.

Anyway, I would have thought that the migrants of the 16th and 17th centuries would have been enough for you lads after they all the good stuff :-)

How long do they keep that going for after Christmas?

If being against racism is a controversial political objective, could you let us know which political parties wouldn't support it? Kick out racism campaigns are common place in soccer; nobody (apart from Trump fans) would suggest that objecting to racism is overtly political

Considerable re-write of history to suggest that colonists introduced by a right wing colonial power are in any way comparable to a "leftie group". Maybe try having a glass of water between drinks lol

'No to Racism' is supposedly 'political' now is it? You're pathetic. There's no place for people like you in the GAA.

Barney - you are getting way to political. this is a GAA forum - not the cesspit that is Twitter. If you want arguments about Covid and Leftie groups herd over there.

Ha - very good.

I was discussing this with the in laws the other day due to Tyrone's new sponsor (McAleer & Rushe). I remember there was a fierce amount of Hunky Dory crisps knocking about the house/match days/lunch boxes. Profits for Hunky Dory's probably went though the roof!!

If you think all this multi million € grift is anything to do with racism you should send them your bank details instead of just being happy to see them take your tax and laugh at you for being so easily gulled.

Anytime people mention the reality of what's going on here, the only response is "Trump", "right wing," "you're drinking", "what about the Christian Brothers." Yawn.
