Replying To legendzxix:  "Tyrone came into the game as the form team. They started the game very strongly as well. Early in the second half I was concerned Kerry's missed goal chances would be costly. Tyrone shooting was poor in the second half. Kerry improved their efficiency. Deserved winners. Donegal or Meath will be the raging hot favourites for obvious reasons. Sure we'll be hoping for the best."
Some yerra right there, not sure how Kerry lose the final now after the manner they eased past Tyrone and Armagh.

Tyrone form coming into this game was mixed. A win over Donegal, defeat to Mayo by a few points to spare. They didn't look great against Dublin who are fading force just had a strong finish, Kerry was far more impressive in the manner they took out the defending champions Armagh.

Kerry 4/7 favourites this evening in Paddy Power to win the All Ireland so the cute Kerryman isn't a great Judge of betting odds.

Congratulation to Kildare on winning the Tailteann Cup (that's how to spell it, for the Leitrim ppl). Great game of football between themselves and Limerick, could have gone either way, but KD the better side overall.

Not that Kerry will mind, but second game very boring after first one. Tyrone had bags of ball but totally bereft of ideas. Clifford some player.

If Donegal get past Meath, I don't know how Kerry wouldn't be 1/2 or shorter. Should be 3-4 favourites minimum.

Donegal, Armagh and Tyrone are all same level with nothing between them and Kerry just battered two out of three of them.

If Meath win tomorrow, at least they have form that points to them actually being in with a chance of stopping Kerry but the odds will probably go even shorter on Kerry.

4/7 looks too big a price based on actual % chance of winning.

Kerry in a different league to Tyrone. On another day they take a lot of those goal chances and we're probably looking at Tyrone's heaviest championship defeat.

Poor Ulster championship
Beat Donegal who missing their goalie and fell over the line against a poor Dublin team.

Kerry lads injured all year are coming back and starting to hit form at right times. It repeat of 09 again.

Very disappointing from Tyrone in 2nd half which contributed to a poor spectacle in the end. Tyrone were in a really good position at half time but ran out of ideas attacking wise with individuals running down blind alleys. Hard to figure out Tyrone and was their performance in Ballybofey really good or what does it say about Ulster in general with Armagh and Tyrone putting in very lame performances in Croke Park. Maybe a bit unfair as neither won Ulster this year. Kerry strong favourites now!

Replying To Pope_Benedict:  "These co-commentators from competing counties, like Fitzmaurice today, are very aggravating. We want co-commentary, not fans with typewriters. Hardly too much to ask of RTE, neutral co-comms, rather than fans of competing teams waxing lyrical about players and teams that they're big fans of."
I'd take that over Cora Staunton on the radio. It was awful. I nearly stopped the car to go in and watch the match in Virginia. I then got into Meath and whole place is decked out for an All Ireland final. They've built some support in a few weeks.

Kildare and Limerick by a distance the best and competitive game to watch for neutrals.

Are some pundits especially those who have talked up the new rules all year now afraid to admit that with two games to play we have got mostly boring error ridden games in the business end of the championship this summer?

That result in Ballybofey was a false dawn. Any team missing their starting goalkeeper will struggle, and injuries to the like of McGonagle and the absence of Jason McGee left Donegal extremely limited on the kickout which was Tyrones entire platform into that game. Since that game, the two teams have trended in opposite directions and ultimately that Tyrone team were waiting to be put out of their misery with Kerry duly obliging.
