Does anyone know what broadcaster will be showing the Saturday night games? Previously it was Eirsport who had them. Will RTE take them over? peiledoir20 (Donegal) - Posts: 796 - 14/01/2022 09:07:24 2394833 Link 0 |

I'd say they will but maybe not til February, IRFU I'd say are lobbying hard with Six nations home games been so vital for their revenue.

Yes for any grounds with a capacity of 10,000 or more, anything below that is 50% of capacity.

Oh feck ya, although I haven't heard anything since. we're heading to Newbridge and I think it only has 8000 capacity so that'll be halved to 4000.

Except of course Louth, Wicklow and Kildare. Do current limits expire midnight Sat 29th or Monday 31st? Maybe NPHET meeting next Thursday will recomnend bringing it forward. Seanfanbocht (Roscommon) - Posts: 1402 - 14/01/2022 13:09:29 2394879 Link 0 |
Government and NPHET meeting next Thursday so it possible it could be brought forward, i know the main sporting bodies (soccer, Rugby, GAA) had meetings with government officials on the possibility of increasing capacities.

Even if they could bring easing of restrictions forward by a couple of days that would do.
