Best of luck to Kieran Donaghy. We're a bit aggrieved of course that he went with them'uns instead of his paternal county : )

I'm surprised by this. Does he live up here now?

I think his job means he works in Dublin and requires him to travel North anyway. Down the years, he's been a regular and popular presenter of trophies at club night for a number of Tyrone clubs also.

That makes more sense. Tralee to Armagh would be a ridiculous journey to make regularly.

I'm sure he'll add something to the Orchard set-up and good luck to him.

Wonder how much "mileage" he will be getting?

Good addition to Armagh imo. I expect Armagh to be strong next year if they can introduce a few decent defenders. Ulster will be very competitive next year with Cavan, donegal, Tyrone and Armagh all looking good.

Would be a start. The chap lives in Kerry. Tis a fair spin to Armagh. A strategic move on his part no doubt and good luck to him. Are county boards obliged to show costs like these in their accounts? €100 per mile? Obviously a brown envelop cant be recorded but then thats the problem with all these high profile managers. They go where the money is and who can blame them.

Well said. They'll be there thereabouts as well.

Star is working 3 days a week in dublin, staying in a hotel so he said Armagh is only an hour and a half up the road so he'll head up for training and back down for work, is he getting paid? I don't know, I do know he's very interested in getting into management so he's looking to learn a bit from Kieran McGeaney and vice versa.
