Four huge senior championship clashes took place today - three in hurling and one in football.
Croke Park provided the setting for a pulsating Leinster SHC semi-final double bill comprising Galway V Dublin and holders Kilkenny's epic clash with 2019 provincial champions Wexford.
The reigning Munster senior hurling champions were also on provincial semi-final duty, with Liam MacCarthy Cup holders Limerick putting their title on the line against Cork at Semple Stadium.
Meanwhile, in football, the first of this year's Ulster SFC quarter-finals pitted Monaghan against neighbours Fermanagh at Clones.
