New Westmeath hurling manager Joe Fortune has confirmed that former Dublin full back Peter Kelly will be part of his backroom team.

The 2013 All-Star from Lucan Sarsfields will be one of the Wexford native’s two selectors. The other is former Westmeath footballer Eddie Casey, who has managed and played for both Mullingar Shamrocks and St Oliver Plunkett’s.

Cork native Paul O’Donoghue has been appointed lead coach, with Joe Nangle (Westmeath) and Richie Flynn (Wexford) coming on board as strength and conditioning coaches.
