Kilmacud Crokes kept their hopes of a Dublin senior football and hurling championship double on track this evening when they proved too good for Ballyboden St Enda's.

In the second SFC semi-final at Parnell Park, a fantastic Shane Cunningham goal in injury-time of the first-half laid the foundations for what was a well-deserved 1-15 to 1-8 victory for Robbie Brennan's charges over a misfiring 'Boden outift.

Cunningham's effort which came after a long delivery from Dan O'Brien left Crokes 1-9 to 0-3 to the good at the interval and with one foot in the final in what will be a repeat of the 2018 decider against St Jude's.

Ballyboden were 0-2 to 0-1 up on 10 minutes after Ryan Basquel opened the scoring but only managed one point over the remainder of the first-half as Crokes enjoyed a dominant spell which yielded seven unanswered points.

The goal they needed to revive their challenge arrived too late and it was scored by Simon Lambert as Crokes kept the foot on the throttle in the second period.
