Kilcoo 0-16

Carryduff 0-9

An impressive showing saw Kilcoo prove too good for first time Down SFC finalists Carryduff at Pairc Esler this evening.

Paul Devlin hit 0-4 in a man-of-the-match performance for the holders as they ran out comfortable seven-point winners in the end, closely followed by Eugene Branagan who raided forward from defence to kick 0-3. They finished the first half 0-7 to 0-4 to the good.

A flurry of third quarter points from Devlin, Branagan, Ryan Johnston, Shealan Johnston, Dylan Ward and Ceilum Doherty broke Carryduff's resistance, wrapping up an eighteenth Frank O’Hare Cup success. Ronan Beattie was responsible for all bar two of the underdogs' scores.
