GAA President Larry McCarthy and Director General Tom Ryan have both voiced their support for Proposal B ahead of Saturday’s Special Congress.
Speaking at a media briefing this afternoon, the Association’s top two officials revealed that they are in favour the introduction of a league-based football championship.
It comes after a number of counties revealed their intention to vote in support of Proposal B in recent days and gives the chances of it reaching the required 60% majority at GAA HQ this weekend a significant boost.
