Kilmessan captain Mark Munnelly raises the Donal O Loinsigh Cup

Kilmessan 3-16 Ratoath 0-05

Kilmessan added the Donal O Loinsigh Cup to the Meath Junior hurling championship title won two weeks ago with a comprehensive win over Ratoath at Ashbourne.

The winners were always in control and playing with the wind led at the break 1-12 to 0-0, the goal coming from stalwart defender Peter Farrell.

Ratoath opened their account early in the second half but a brace of goals from substitute Conor Gorman extinguished any hopes of a comeback as Kilmnessan went on to win with ease.

After the game Kilmessan captain Mark Munnelly was presented with the Donal O Loinsigh Cup by County Board PRO Ciaran Flynn
