Bray Emmets retained their Wicklow senior hurling championship crown yesterday with an impressive rout of Carnew Emmets.
It finished 1-21 to 1-4 in favour of the holders after they produced the second-half goods to ensure back-to-back titles.
Only two points separated the sides at the halfway stage, with Carnew grabbing a goal through Wayne Kinsella to keep themselves in contention.
‘Man of the Match’ Christy Moorehouse led Bray’s charge after the resumption, finishing with 0-12 to his name as Carnew were kept to just two points in the second period.
