Mark Keane is named in the Collingwood team for their AFL round 5 clash with the West Coast Eagles at the Optus Stadium tomorrow.

The Cork star has recovered from the finger tendon injury he picked up in pre-season to take his place in the Magpies' half-back line.

Keane will make his second Premiership start having turned in some impressive displays during VFL practice matches in recent weeks.

His AFL debut came last August against Fremantle Dockers before Collingwood gave the 21-year-old permission to line out for Cork in the Munster SFC while at home in Ireland in the off-season.

Keane scored a memorable injury-time goal on his county senior championship debut as a substitute versus Kerry in the provincial semi-final at Páirc Ui Chaoimh.

He was sprung from the bench again for the decider but couldn't prevent the Rebels from losing to Tipperary.
