2012 Donegal All-Ireland winning duo Eamon McGee and Leo McLoone will be involved in inter-county management this year with the county U20 footballers.

Gary Duffy has tonight been confirmed as the new Donegal U20 boss for 2021, and it was also revealed that McGee and McLoone will be part of his management set-up.

Duffy was an obvious choice for the job having managed the same crop of players at minor level in 2018 and 2019.

The Buncrana clubman replaces Shaun Paul Barrett, who last season led Donegal to the Ulster final, only to lose to Tyrone.

McGee was previously involved with the Donegal U20's as a selector between 2017 and 2019, whie McLoone takes his first step into the inter-county management scene.

The interview process was carried out by Donegal GAA's Games Development Manager Aaron Kyles, Head of Academy Development Karl Lacey and Athletic Performance Consultant Dr Micheál Cahill.
